Our goal is a country where all young people (0-18) develop into well-rounded community members — aware of self, others, and world so that they can take positive action in improving their lives and the lives of others.
HOW WE DO IT
ENGAGE provides civic and social emotional resources and coaching to all of the people and places that influence young people on a daily basis.
Lesson plans and toolkits targeted to support ages 3-18. Covers topics such as service, social justice, identity, interpersonal communication, self managaement and regulation, empathy developmment, media literacy, and more.
ENGAGE will support schools, youth programs, young people themselves, or caring adults in building programs that meet their local needs from conception to execution, including initial visions, outlines, content, support, and evaluation.
We train young people themselves, educators, and caring adults in social emotional learning, meaningful service, positive school culture, modeling desired behavior as a staff, and more. Trainings are both delivered online and in person. Local staff can also run our ENGAGE trainings.
We’re here to support along the way, fielding questions from educators, young people, parents. We provide site observations, support calls, and email assistance.
51,000 young people are involved in ENGAGE’s weekly programming. ENGAGE materials have reached 250,000 young people at some point since our inception in 2016
